Steve Kiene has been putting smiles on people’s faces with his funny, memorable caricatures for the last 17 years at the Vail Farmer’s Market & Art Show! His other art is a reflection of his deep connection with nature. His aspen bark flower vases are unique, hand crafted, quintessential Colorado. His paintings reflect concepts such as the balance in nature, regeneration and growth, and the interdependence of all living things. Steve also makes “tree spirits” – whimsical carvings from tree branches and cut wood from timber harvesting.
