Everett Studio

Colleen Everett is a native of Maryland’s eastern shore, but has lived in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado for more than 15 years. She lives in the town of Eagle, a village that is less than 10 miles from Vail. She maintains an active home studio, where she spends anywhere from 6 to 8 hours daily, under the strict supervision of drying clay and firing kilns. “As a craftsman you are tied to the process and schedules of your media.  Clay is a strict task master, but in the day to day ‘doing’ comes a profound meditation.  The action brings a clarity to your inventions.”
