What: Storefront Decorating Contest

Where: Vail Village, East Meadow Drive
The Meadow Drive Partnership, the organizers of Vail’s Farmers Market is pleased to announce the 2nd annual Vail Harvest Festival, Sunday, September 23, 2007. A new Fall Foliage decorating competition will be waged between the Meadow Drive merchants to determine the best “storefront décor”. Harvest festival decorations including the Local merchants’ competition will be completed on Saturday afternoon. The event is scheduled to coincide with prime leaf peeping in the mountains that is enjoyed by Front Range residents every fall.

Saturday, September 22

Sunday, September 23
10:00am Market Vendors Open East Meadow Drive
Storefront Contest Results Announced
11:00am Beer & Wine Sales Begin Village Inn Plaza
Covered Bridge Gazebo
3:00pm All events & activities conclude

20 pieces assorted Indian Corn, Squash & Mini Pumpkins
Each store should enhance doorway and/or window with additional ribbon, fabric, candles, lanterns, scarecrows etc.
Judging will be held on Saturday at 3:00pm with results and photos in local media on Sunday morning.
